600 miles & 15 hours. VA to MI Road trip

September 15, 2012
We did it. Brady and I survived the drive, just the two of us, from Virginia to Michigan. 15 hours. I didn't have doubts, but usually Travis does the driving and I work on my computer. This time, Travis stayed back.
bye bye, dada
Enjoy our two days of travel through Instagram photos - - and follow me @MotoWife for the rest of our Michigan Adventure (not Michigan's Adventure ha ha)

4 hours into the trip I got a speeding ticket. I'm not shocked. There are cops every mile from Virginia to Ohio.
Brady was starving and this was the only "restaurant" for miles upon miles. The last thing I wanted to do was go inside, so we had a picnic in the back seat of the Jeep. He didn't like the "food" and I don't blame him.
I couldn't find my Coach sunglasses, but I found all of these. They're in VA still, boo!
Still driving. Getting bored. Feeling gross.

We stopped in Ohio for the night at Travis' "Heterosexual Lifemate's" aka his best friend, Jason's house.

Ohio state line. Nobody likes Ohio.
We hit the road in the morning for 4 hours until we got to my hometown in Michigan.

Let's do this. Ohio, it would be cool if your entire state wasn't 55 mph
1.5 hours left

600 miles and 15 hours later - we are here.

  1. You crack me up! Nice job getting there in one piece - except for the speeding ticket...heh. Have fun with your family! We did a big road trip to my hometown in Washington State this past summer - we drove through Ohio too...didn't like the 55mph speed limit. ;)

Found you via Wifessionals - nice to 'meet' you...I'm now your newest follower. :)
