wittlebee review

June 08, 2012

Just when I thought I had reviewed all of the monthly subscription boxes that exist, another one appeared on my radar. Wittlebee is a kids clothing subscription service for sizes 0-5T that asked me to review a box for Brady. For $39.99 a month, you'll receive up to 8 pieces of clothing in each box. I think I spend $39.99 on one or two outfits each time I go to Carter's.

You are probably thinking the same things I did "What if the clothes are nothing like clothes my child currently wears?" "I don't want to get a bunch of clothes I don't need." Wittlebee is a unique service in which you get to answer a few questions that tell them a lot about your style preferences for your child.

My style quiz results:
  • Size18-24 M
  • Clothing StylePreppy
  • GraphicsAnimals Patterns/Plaids
  • Favorite ColorsBlue Red Green
  • Styles neededShirts Long Sleeve Shorts
  • ClimateCalifornia Dreamin
  • StylistNo, I'll add my own style notes.
    • Child's GenderBoy
    • NameBrady
    • Child's Age12-24 M
Subscriptions typically arrive monthly, but you can pause and reactivate your subscription at your convenience. If you do not think the style quiz was enough, you can have a phone consultation with a mom stylist to tell them a little more about what you're looking for.

I'm a sucker for cute packaging. Subscription boxes definitely make receiving the package feel like it's a gift! (I love gifts)

We received 8 pieces of clothing. 5 shirts and 3 shorts. I was so excited and this shipment beyond exceeded my expectations. Honestly, I was thinking I might receive some clothes that would be decent, and if anything they would just be outfits Brady wears to daycare. Not only did this take a load off of having to go clothes shopping, it was fun to open and the element of surprise was exciting.

Brands in this shipment included Teddyboom, Carter's Kids Headquarters and American Apparel.

I immediately decided to subscribe to Wittlebee. I have read other reviews and everyone has been so happy and their clothing selections have been fantastic. I have no doubt that I will receive awesome clothes, each month. You can change your subscription and fashion preferences at any time. Next month, I might focus on jeans and long sleeve shirts for the odd days that it gets cold in the summer.
I will continue to subscribe to this box because, unlike most subscription boxes, these are not samples. They are the real deal, ready-to-wear  outfits, all for $39.99, if anything, that price point is the selling point.

Receive $10 off your first box when you click here. Connect with wittlebee on Facebook and Twitter.

    1. This sounds great! Munchkin is all set on clothes for the next year but I'll have to keep this in mind for next summer:)
