hammock pack {review}

June 26, 2012

Yes, my lovely readers, another subscription box. Another fantastic subscription box. For $25.00/month, you'll receive 5-6 artisan items including handcrafted food, accessories, house ware and beauty supplies.

HammockPack might have noticed that I review quite a few subscription boxes, so they contacted me and asked if I would provide my honest opinion in exchange for their first HammockPack. Of course, I accepted.

I love cute packaging, it gets me excited for the contents before I even dig in. The June HammockPack theme is "Day at the Beach" and the contents certainly made me feel that way. The idea of the HammockPack is to take you to a much needed getaway without leaving your home - I'm excited to see what future months entail.

Inside, I found scents, snacks and the perfect accessories for a Day at the Beach.

my office just turned into the beach! cute packaging goes a long way, in my book.

how clever. I thought it said 'theme fragrance' because it was the fragrance for the theme of the month. Wrong! Well, partially wrong- theme fragrance is the name of the company that makes this delicious smelling soap.

The first thing I saw was the company name: Motor City Creations - it stole my heart at the tag {Michigan Native}.  The candle, in fact, smells like a Hawaiian breeze. My office smells delicious, and now I have a candle if we ever lose power! (I sell and have a house full of Scentsy, and wasn't smart enough to keep 'real' candles in the house)

YES! Cookies. I always need a sweet pick me up mid-day in the office when I wish I was at the beach. These cookies are delightful, light and delicious. They have adorable packaging, I love the label and the cookies are the best part. I would've never thought to buy cookies from Etsy, but I will now. Butter + Love

Just another lip balm. NOT This coconut vanilla lip balm from DressGreen is the smoothest, most soft and flavorful (i didn't eat it) lip balm I have ever used. I will for sure be buying more soon, it has saved my lips from the windy day at the beach.

Thanks to these delicious and refreshing suckers, I can have many days at the beach. This Charming Candy . I received Guava Colada, Triple berry, Watermelon Basil and Pineapple Heaven. Very interested in trying the other flavors listed on their website.

I can't wait to see what future HammockPacks include. I need to rethink all of the boxes I subscribe to, but i will keep the full-size product boxes, the sample boxes just aren't justifiable anymore. I will definitely be giving HammockPack as a gift, too!

  1. I could get into that! I did Birch Box for a month and wasn't impressed w/ the packaging nor the contents. I'm going to try Glam Bag next. Hammock Pack also!
