paper culture stationery review

April 12, 2012
I'm one of the few, the proud, the grateful. Yes, I still write hand-written thank you notes (and letters to my grandma). I love having personalized stationery and am always on the lookout for the latest and greatest.

Paper Culture sells eco friendly custom stationary and wall art, including baby shower invitations, baby announcements, birthday invitations and bamboo wall art. Recycled paper can look and feel dingy, but Paper Culture uses 130lb 100% post consumer recycled paper. For you non-print geeks, the paper is thick, durable and is perfect card stock.  See how Paper Culture compares to Tiny Prints and Shutterfly here.

As part of their 1,000,000 tree pledge, they plant a tree in your honor with every order. I dedicated my tree to Brady.
I was honored to be able to review three different stationery prints.

this card is the typical plain, all caps, me.
Yes, I write thank you notes for Brady. Once he is old enough, he will write them.
I went out on a limb with this one. I pushed myself to do something different and get a design and colors I wouldn't typically choose. I like it.
I am really pleased with the quality of the stationery. Thick, durable card stock, vibrant ink and rounded corners. I love the rounded corners, different from typical notecards.

I admit that I am a tad bit judgmental when I receive notes from others. First of all, I am thrilled there are others who still write thank you notes (different story, different day) and if I like their stationery, I usually already own it or I will track it down and get it. So impress me and head over to Paper Culture to have notecards handy whenever you want to write or thank someone!
